AMALFI KAYAK

The route: round trip.
Departure and arrival: Lido delle Sirene, Amalfi.
Distance: 10.5 kilometres or approximately 5.7 sea miles.
Duration: about three hours including stops.
When: every day by prior arrangement by telephone or e-mail.
Times: from 09.30 to 13.00 or from 14.00 to 17.30.
Level of experience required: from beginner to expert.

The Tour.

Once we have put on our lifejackets and adjusted the footrests on our kayaks, we will be ready to set off in a westerly direction towards Positano.

For those who have never been in a kayak, there will be a short induction lesson.

The route will take us along Amalfi’s finest beaches as well as under natural rock arches and into sea caves.

We will pause at beaches reachable only by sea, and have time to go snorkelling or swimming in crystal-clear waters.

We will paddle past the seaside village of Conca dei Marini and go round the Conca headland to reach the Furore Fjord, where we will disembark for a visit on foot.

The return trip to the Lido delle Sirene at Amalfi will give us a different but equally remarkable view of both sea and land.
